After the overhaul of complications involving his family, Tyreek Hill finally faced reporters on Friday. Though he did not discuss the legal matter directly, the NFL’s Cheetah said he is avoiding “noise” and staying focused on playing football at this moment. But as various issues he has been involved in are troubling the star wide receiver of the Miami Dolphins, his franchise also couldn’t hold his hand firmly while the trade rumors swirl around Hill.
But while his trade rumors are increasing day by day, Adam Schefter has dropped a relieving update to the Dolphins fans who want Hill to be in Miami. Revealing the update, ESPN’s Adam Schefter posted on X, “To date, the Dolphins haven’t received any calls from other teams interested in WR Tyreek Hill.” The reporter also added that the Miami “Dolphins currently have no plans to trade him, per sources”.
Currently, Tyreek Hill’s family matters and his football future are also under scrutiny by the National Football League. However, per the publisher named, Rollingout, “The receiver described himself as happy with his current situation despite the various challenges he faces.” Hill recently responded to NFL reporters in the Dolphins locker room, where he seemed smiling and laughing while discussing his current situation and career.
Tyreek Hill hasn’t received a 30-yard+ reception in a year
When Hill was asked if he hadn’t received any catches beyond 30 yards in the past year, the WR was pi**ed off. Actually, since the Week 1 matchup against the Jaguars last season, Hill hasn’t received a pass that is beyond 30 yards. When asked, “Is there any reason you haven’t caught a pass for over 30 yards in a full year?” Hill responded, “You trying to piss me off today.”
Last year saw a sudden dip in Hill’s yards and receptions compared to his previous three years in the league. From 2021 to 2023, he caught 111 to 119 passes for an average of 1580 yards. But in the 2024 season, which started with a police arrest outside a stadium, saw only 81 catches at 123 targets for 959 yards. This year, in his first matchup against the Indianapolis Colts, Hill has received four passes at six targets for yards so far. Let’s see if we can see a real Cheetah entering Miami’s jungles in 2025, even after he is facing family and legal issues.
